GRIP FEST
HAS ALWAYS BEEN
A PASSION PROJECT.

I created Grip Fest to provide our community the opportunity to learn about and explore everything the world of climbing has to offer.

When I first started at North Mass Boulder, I saw there was a lack of access to climbing shoes, knowledge and education about climbing shoes in our community.

So I set out to change that.

Outside of retail trade shows, you never see all these climbing shoe brands at the same time.

“What if we gather
the climbing industry
all under one roof.”

It wasn't enough though to just bring all the brands together. It had to be inviting, fun, and beneficial. Boom! Grip Fest was born!

Grip Fest is now a festival for climbing shoes, a hub for knowledge, a comp, a one stop shop, and a good ass time!
